Valethamate Bromide
Valethamate bromide is a quaternary ammonium antimus-
carinic with peripheral effects similar to those of atropine. It
is used in the symptomatic treatment of visceral
spasms. Doses of 10 to 20 mg have been given three times
daily by mouth: Valethamate bromide has also been given by
injection and as a rectal suppository.
